Not all our work is large strategic projects. Sometimes the small details can be as difficult. They say the devil is in the detail. At the junction of Hemsley Road and Grange Road in Coalville, we were required to design 10m kerb radii to replace the existing 6m radii kerbs, to facilitate Hemsley Road serving a further tranche of 80 houses. The knock on effect with the pedestrian crossing, and the need for a VAS, complicated the process. But we got there, and technical approval was granted this week.
