After a lengthy delay while the S106 was resolved, Davidsons planning application for employment use on a site on Leicester Road in Melton Mowbray has been approved. The site is allocated in the Melton Local Plan as part of the Southern Sustainable Neighbourhood. Our Transport Assessment reported on how transport conditions would be impacted by the development, taking account of the (currently being built) northern and eastern Melton Mowbray Distributor Road (NEMMDR), and its planned southern extension. To assist, we used VISSIM microsimulation modelling of Melton to explore the relief to the town centre. Masterplan by SGP.
