In recent times, surface water flooding has become yet another significant constraint on development. It is a topic our Water Management team tackle on a daily basis, as they seek to demonstrate the risks can be suitably managed and mitigated. As an example, we have this week heard that the Lead Local Flood Authority (Solihull Council) have raised no objections to the Kler Group application on the KN2 site at Knowle, subject to providing the proposed SuDS features – kerbside bioretention features and tree pits, an example of which is shown below.
