After many years of work, the Green Belt Arden Triangle site, that we helped become allocation KN2, has been granted consent by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council. Ably shepherded by Cerda Planning, our client, Kler Group, sought outline consent for 450 dwellings on part of the allocation. All the assessment work had to look at the whole allocation, which included three other parties, adding to the complexity. Our Water Management team assessed the flood risk, and proposed a drainage strategy, complicated by the ecology. As the first application to come forward, our Transport Planning team assessed the cumulative impact of the whole allocation, as well as another allocation in Knowle, amounting to over 1,000 new dwellings.
