The South East Coalville Sustainable Urban Extension is one of the region’s most significant residential-led developments, delivering approximately 3,500 new homes alongside supporting infrastructure and community facilities. The project was identified as a strategic growth area within the Core Strategy and required comprehensive planning, transport, and infrastructure solutions to support long-term sustainable development.
A development of this scale required careful coordination between planning authorities, developers, and infrastructure providers. The project needed a robust transport strategy, supporting infrastructure, and phased delivery plans to accommodate future growth while maintaining accessibility and connectivity.
